Shirgaon BeachPalghar beaches in Maharashtra draws the biggest attention of laze beach lovers from across the world. Satpati and Shirgaon lies to the north while Kelva to the lies to the south. Shirgaon Beach
Situated about 11 kms from the town Shirajon offers the impressive view of the Arabian Sea and its nearby Shirgaon village. The place also has the remains of an 18th century fort that is no more under the catalog of attraction. Visitors can relax on the beach, have fun with playing cricket or can interact with the fisher-folk, dwelling on the way. At time boating is highly opted by the enthusiast water-sport lovers.

Satpati Beach
This beach is not busy like the other two and is often called as the sleepy hamlet with many palm trees. It is 13 kms away from the main town and very close to Shirgaon beach. The only activity here is to watch the fishermen's boats with their colorful flags, which swings on with the motion of air and boat.

Kelva Beach
This beach is about 13 kms from the main town and is by far the most scenic spot in Palghar. Its black sand stretches fro 7 kms and ends up where the Suru trees begins. The fort and the Kelva dam, situated 10 kms away attracts the beach lovers here and they do not forget to offer prayer in the nearby Sheetila Devi Mandir. The Mandir premises also offers the majestic view of the sunset and sunrise.

Palghar beach restaurants are popular for both seafoods and vegetable dishes. The options of seafoods are limited to Suruchi Restaurant and Sai Shibir Resort. Besides, Viva Restaurant opposite Paanch Batti serves the delectable Continental, Chinese and South Indian cuisines. The Rasam Restaurant and Manisha concerns the local food-stuffs like Mango Lassi, Kesar Lassi, and juices garnished with the exotic flavors of black grape, apple and anjeer.

Devkop
The hidden beauty Devkop in the hills attracts photographs and picnickers during the monsoon season. It is situated 12 kms away from Palghar beach and can be easily accessed by means of local transport facilities. A 10 min trek along the path offers the several dots of straw huts on one side and the fields on the other side. Visitors can halt for a while on the vicinity of the Devkop Lake, surrounded by hills on three sides and casting stunning reflection on a clear sunny day.

By Air
Visitors who opt for traveling via flight need to collect flight information serviced by Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport in Mumbai. The aerodrome is located 120 kms from Palghar beach and visitors can easily hire the available local transport to reach the destination.

By Rail
Mumbai Railway Station is connected to Palghar by direct Ferozpur Janta Express and Ahmedabad Passenger. The trains halt at Kelva Road Station and visitors can share autos from the Palghar Railway Station till Kelva Beach.

By Road
There are no AC deluxe buses running directly to Palghar and visitors need to reserve seats in the State Transport buses plying between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. NH8 connects Palgar to the nearby places like Manor, Shirsad etc.
