The hillside here are completely covered with the clusters of palm trees and visitors can cherish its best view from the courtyard of the Dasabhuja Lakshmi Ganesha Temple, situated in the village. Just a 10 mins walk from the village helps, beach lovers reach the Velneshwar beach.

By Rail
The nearest railhead to Guhagar is at Chiplun, situated 43 kms away. This major stop on the Konkan Railway is connected by trains from Mumbai such as Konkan Kanya Express and Netravati Express.
By Road
Take a route from Mumbai to Panvel and following the Panvel-Pen Highway, continue on NH17 up to Chiplun via Mangaon and Mahad. Guhagar is 43 kms away from Chiplun on SH78 and visitors can book space in local buses or auto to the beach. Also the Ghatge-Patil Roadways in Mumbai has a daily video coach services to Guhagar.
