Daman
depicts the three glorious words- beaches, liquor and the history. The sandy
yet silent beaches refreshes the mind of the weary travelers and gift them
the opportunity to glance the nature's wonder. On visiting the Devka beach
at sunset, visitors will see the wet, black rocks glowing red in the dying

Nani Daman
Having visited Devka, the next interest lies in exploring the nearby Nani Daman. It is situated to the north of the Damanganga and is busy with sweet and chaat shops and the hotel bars. It has a Damao Pequeno Jetty, which is popular for a fast food center and the St. Jerome Fort, built b the Portuguese in 1627. Visitors can view this monuments with enjoying a boat-ride beneath it. The low southern part shimmers with a statue of St. Jerome, set in a niche above the arch.
Moti Daman
The beach in Moti Daman sparkles with ancient forts, beautiful churches and splendid surrounding. The Church of Bom Jesus is the larger and is highly appreciated for its ornately carved architecture. The Fort here houses the Governor's Palace, which has a spectacular flights of stairs and ornate chandeliers.
Jampore Beach
The serene Jampore Beach has a pastoral air which dries up the sea-fishes and and diffuses the pungent smell in the surrounding. The sea is a long way and by afternoon, many boys are seen playing cricket on the squelching black mud.

Another key attraction of the place is the Iranshah Atash Behram, the largest fire temple, which was originally created by Sajan in 721 CE.

By Road
Vapi lies on the four-lane Delhi-Mumbai, NH8. Raj National Express, Volvo buses ply on NH8 between Surat and Mumbai, and halt at Vapi, which is in close proximity to Daman beach.
