Murudeshwar

Idagunji Temple
This sacred temple is situated 16 kms from Murudeshwar and houses a Ganesh idol. Devotees visit the temple and follow a tradition of offering 'mashbhakdha', an idli-like eatable before the Lord. It has been learnt of that, about 58 ancient palm-leaf manuscripts that describes the cultural inheritance of present-day Uttara Canara, has been discovered in recent days.
