The
crescent-shaped Palolem, located in South Goa is one among the placid

Pandava's Drum
The name of the Drum, itself, suggest its underlying legends. People visit here to throw stone hits at particular spot on the large cup-shaped rock so as to hear the resonant sound.
Figueiredo House
A little further down the way to Pandava Drum, is the Figueiredo House. The house was built in the early 20th century by the Figueiredo family and today, it has been renovated as a part of Neptune Point Hotel.
The Island
A walk towards the northern end of the Palolem beach offers you to flock into the shallow water connecting the island and the rocky bridge. The beach is best known for spotting Dolphins. A boat trip towards the North and up the tiny stream is a must-do-activity here. Butterfly beach is located in between Palolem and Agonda. It is less than 100 m across and can be easily reached by boat.
Patnem-Colomb Beach
Situated south of Palolem is the vaddo of Colomb which adjoins the fine Patnem beach. The beach is best for stayers, who desires to enjoy the nightlife at Palolem. Apart from offering the accommodations, adventure lovers can also enjoy canoe rides and dolphin-spotting cruises, organized by the local fishermen on the beach.
Rajbaga Beach
The virgin Rajbaga beach is situated south of Patnem and is all the way to the mouth of the Talpona River. The major portion of the beach is dominated by the Intercontinental Grand Resort.
Galjibaga Beach
The beach is the popular turtle nesting site. It is situated 17 kms from Palolem beach and is highly visited by the beach lovers. Travelers, in order to reach the beach can take the highway past Chaudi to Poinguinim. Besides, they can also plan for a stay at Brandon Restaurant, situated 500m of Galjibaga beach.

By Air:
Dabolim Airport, situated 67 km away is the nearest airport. The airport premises has a number of pre-paid taxis, which at reasonable tariff, helps visitors reach the beach-side.
By Rail:
Madgaon Station, located 43 kms away is the nearest train station. From here, visitors can catch frequent buses operating every hour from Margao to Palolem.
By Road:
NH17 connects Palolem with Margao, Cuncolim and Char Rasta. Palolem is just 2 km away from Char Rasta.
