Cavelossim
is a 10 km strip of pristine beach south of Benaulim, with a number of
hotels of varying degrees of luxury. This stretch with Cavelossim beach has
been patronized by the affluent tourists and can almost be called Goa's up
market resort beach. A short way beyond the village's picturesque church
square, a narrow lane veers left across an open expanse of paddy fields to
the Cavelossim-Assolna ferry crossing near the mouth of the Sal River.These beaches are much cleaner and quieter than most of the famous beaches of Goa. Varca-Fatrade Beach
The twin beach, Varca and Fatrade, together is one of the longest stretches of beaches in Salcete. Apart from the clutch of beach shacks, the beach is also has a 5-star resorts. The beach is quiet and rarely gets disturbed by occasional vendors and hawkers. The main attraction of the beach is the Church of Our Lady of Glorious, built in 17th century.

Madgaon Station is located 15 km away from the beach. On reaching the station visitors can hire pre-paid taxis and explore the stretch of Cavelossim
By Ferry:
Cavelossim is connected to Assolna across the River Sal by ferry. Further, Assolna is at a short distance via Chinchinim from NH17, which pave the way back to Margao.
